Villa Mar y Golf is located within the Wyndham Río Mar Grand Resort which offers access to golf, tennis, a beach within the resort which is a short 5-7-minute drive away, 5 restaurants, and community pool that is literally across the street from the villa. Outside of the resort you have The El Yunque National Rainforest a 10-15-minute drive away, a never-ending list of great local restaurants, and access to all the great beaches of the northeast coast of Puerto Rico. Villa Mar y Golf can sleep up to 6 guests in 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 additional pull-out twin beds.

LIVING AREAS

Enter Villa Mar y Golf and you are greeted by the living and dining room which seamlessly connect to the kitchen and large outdoor terrace. All the social areas of the home enjoy beautiful rainforest and golf course views. There is plenty of breeze if you decide to open-up the villa and there is central AC for those who prefer a cooler environment. The terrace has two hammock chairs and a 4-person dining table great for a breakfast with a view of evening happy hour. There is WiFi throughout the villa and cable TV in the living room and both bedrooms.

BEDROOMS

There are 2 bedrooms at Villa Mar y Golf, each with a  full bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed, cable TV, sofa, and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and 2 additional pull-out twin beds, cable TV, closet, and full bathroom. Both rooms enjoy central AC as well.

KITCHEN

Villa Mar y Golf has a very large and comfortable open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. The dining table, which seats six, is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. There is also access to the balcony from the dining area which you can open to allow the breeze in while cooking or enjoying a home cooked meal.  

AMENITIES

Villa Mar y Golf includes 2 parking spots and is across the street from a gorgeous pool with gazebo and charcoal BBQ’s. The pool, gazebo, and BBQ’s and included with the stay. Rio Mar Resort also offers a Spa, Golf Courses, and large tennis facilities which are available on a pay-per-use basis. There is a gorgeous beach within the resort and the villa includes beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach cooler for your beach trips.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

There are many things to do in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Here are our top picks which you will be sure to enjoy during your stay:

1. Explore the lush and exotic El Yunque, the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help you plan a hike or participate in a zip-line adventure.
2. Experience the glowing waters on a nightly a kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo.
3. Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach.
4. Go on a horseback or four track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park.
5. Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo.

GETTING AROUND

We strongly recommend having your own vehicle as there are a multitude of activities within a 30-minute drive which you will not want to miss out on. Also, the Río Mar community is an extensive one which means that while the villa is located within the same grounds as the Wyndham resort, you will still need a car if you want to grab a meal at their various restaurants, go to the casino, or get to the tennis courts and golf course.

AMENITIES:

West Indies strives to deliver top notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

• Check-in time is at 4:00pm
• Check-out time is at 11:00am
• NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
• NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
• All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
• Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. 
• Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
• Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours
• Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged from damage deposit
• Subletting not allowed
• Do not hang towels from balcony or windows
• Pets are NOT allowed
