SUMMARY:

Villa Cacique is a spectacular 2 story luxury house located in the heart of Ocean Park within San Juan’s only gated neighborhood on the beach. It features 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 indoor living rooms, and 2 private outdoor areas.

Blocks from the beach as well as the best dining options the island has to offer, nothing compares to this gorgeously spacious single-family home in both location and privacy. This professionally decorated two-story property offers furniture in all rooms, expansive living spaces, and a kitchen suite with outdoor access.

NOTE: This home has a slight downward inclination to the east. It is something most guests do not notice but we prefer to point this out nonetheless.

LIVING AREAS:

FIRST LEVEL

Enter the villa and you are greeted with top-notch furnishings in the vast living room. The unique brass ceiling lighting helps set up the warm and inviting feel of this high-end property. There is a large L shaped sofa with a 43″ inch flat-screen TV with cable placed in a beautiful tv unit, and a modern yet tasteful 6 person dining table, which makes for the ideal area for socializing.

SECOND LEVEL

Enter the lofty expansive living space, you are greeted with beautiful natural light which burst from the tropical green windows that surround the villa. The second level has a more bohemian yet nautical feel to it. This area features a stylish sofa, a 6 person dining table and a cherry amber wood tv console that features a 43″ flat screen tv. This space has a private balcony with a sitting area for 4.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

Villa Cacique offers a total of 5 bedrooms. Lower level features 3 bedrooms. The spacious Master bedroom has 2 queen size beds, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin size bed with a dedicated full bathroom.

The main bathroom located outside the hall which is shared with both the Master and 2nd bedroom has high-end finishes and is stocked with organic amenities and 5-star resort quality towels.

The second level has 2 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has 1 queen-size bed, full-size drawer, flatscreen tv, and two personal end tables. It has its own private bathroom with a standing shower, jacuzzi (whirlpool currently not working), double sinks and 5-star resort-quality amenities like towels. It also a spacious walking/linen closet. The second room has a full-size bed with its own small yet functional full bathroom.

KITCHEN:

Villa Cacique has a beautiful and functional European style kitchen with granite countertops, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, full fridge, microwave oven, and coffee maker. The kitchen situated in the first level opens up to the outdoor terrace where you will comfortably host your fun Caribbean happy hours.

In the upper level, you will find a small, traditional-style kitchenette with microwave, stove, full, fridge and sink. This rental unit includes a washer and dryer.

LOCATION:

Villa Cacique is located right by Ocean Park beach in Condado, Puerto Rico. This is one of the best urban beach towns in all of the Caribbean. From Villa Cacique you are a 1-minute walk away from the sand and within walking distance to some of the best dining options Puerto Rico has to offer. Forget the rental car because from here you can walk or Uber to everything! The apartment is 10 minutes from the airport and has the beach, restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops all within walking distance.

There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

1. Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Villa Cacique. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
2. Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita.
3. Explore Calle Loiza, which is two blocks from the apartment. This up and coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start off with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping and Nude for some women clothes shopping, La Cuevita del Mar for local seafood, and Sabrina for sophisticated Puerto Rican food.
4. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination.
5. Spend a day in Old San Juan. Villa Cacique is a 10 min Uber ride from the oldest city in all the US. There is a lot of history to see and great food, drinks, and shopping.

AMENITIES:

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay. 

HOUSE RULES: 

• Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
• Check-out time is at 11:00 am
• NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
• NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
• The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service.  If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
• All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
• Maximum occupancy of 11 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. 
• Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.    
• Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged. 
• Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows. A $100 fine may be applied if you break this rule. 
• Subletting not allowed
