Casita Bromelia is a mesmerizing 1 bedroom 1 bathroom Spanish style suite located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The suite has stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and “El Yunque” National Rainforest. You will be able to experience a stellar evening away from the light pollution of the city, and you are a 10-minute drive away from the bioluminescence bay; one of the world’s best kept secrets. Casita Bromelia’s layout and immediate proximity to the most beautiful beaches on the northeast of the island and countless local flavor restaurants make it the ideal property for couples looking for the perfect, relaxing Caribbean vacation.

LIVING AREAS:

Enter the suite and you are greeted with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea and “El Yunque” National Rain Forest. There is a bistro style dining table which comfortably sits 2 adults. The entire suite has central AC as well as great cross ventilation– so you can decide between ocean breeze on cool days and comfortable AC on the hotter days. 

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

The bedroom has 2 double beds and a true balcony  where you can enjoy one of the most stunning ocean views in Puerto Rico. It also has a flat screen TV, a wooden dresser and a full bathroom with fresh towels and essentials, and a comfortable and private kitchenette!

KITCHEN:

The suite has a small kitchenette with a hotel size fridge, full-size microwave, and sink. The kitchenette includes basic dinnerware and a full set of knives and cutting boards. There is a coffee maker in the kitchenette as well.

LOCATION: 

Casita Bromelia is located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. It features a breathtaking infinity pool with views of the Caribbean Sea and “El Yunque” Rain Forest. You will be a drive away from beautiful beaches, national parks, natural reserves, and lots of local restaurants. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

• Enjoy, soak, and unwind in the sumptuous cliffside infinity pool. This complex includes access to 2 more mesmerizing swimming pools.
• Chill at the beach! Seven Seas, Playa Azul, and Luquillo Beach are our favorite beaches in the northeastern coast and a must-do if you are staying at Casita Bromelia. The villa has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.  
• Lunch or dinner at “Los Kioskos de Luquillo”. There are over 25 restaurants in the Caribbean beachfront restaurant strip. One of our favorites is “La Parrilla”.
• Explore the “El Yunque” Rainforest and National Park at Río Grande, Puerto Rico. El Yunque is an easy 30 minutes drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
• Experience the glowing waters at the bioluminescent bay of Fajardo during an evening kayak tour.
• Go on a horseback ride or ATV/UTV ride off the beaten path in Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park at Luquillo, Puerto Rico.
• Spend a day in Old San Juan. Las Casitas is only a 1-hour drive away from the capital/historic city. There’s a lot of history to see and great food and drinks to enjoy.

AMENITIES:

West Indies strives to Deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 2 rolls of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES:

• Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
• Check-out time is at 11:00 am
• Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated. 
• All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
• Maximum occupancy of 4 adults/children
• Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
• Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours
• Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged.
• Subletting not allowed
• Do not hang towels from balcony or windows
